STAFF AUDITOR

Job Description
- Work in a team environment to achieve audit objectives.
- Perform assigned audits in accordance with the approved audit program.
- Evaluate and document risk and control measures in connection with the accounting, financial and operational aspects of an organization.
- Evaluate the adequacy of internal controls and compliance with company policy and procedures by conducting interviews with all levels of personnel, examining transactions, documents, records and reports, and observing procedures.
- Assist in the development of recommendations based on independent judgment of action plans required and suggested enhancements to operational procedures.
- Prepare working papers, which record and summarize data on the assigned audit segment, in accordance with professional standards.
- Develop and maintains productive client and staff relationships.
Requirements
- BS or BA degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business degree.
- 0–2 years of internal/external audit, accounting, or finance experience.
- Active pursuit of CPA, CIA or CISA certification.
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Visio).
- High energy, interactive personality with desire and ability to work extensively with others.
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem solving skills.
- High ethical standards and values and ability to maintain confidentiality of all information.
- Strong and effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently to develop high quality work product.
