ASSURANCE MANAGER / SENIOR MANAGER

Job Description
- Plan, lead and execute audit engagements for audits of financial statements and employee benefit plans
- Perform financial reporting consulting engagements with an emphasis on publically traded clients
- Communicate audit findings and results to clients management team
- Communicate with business owners as well as the internal accounting and audit departments of clients to ensure delivery of exceptional client service
- Interact directly with Partners on matters related to client and engagement management
- Supervise, develop and train engagement teams on audit engagements
- Assist with strengthening existing client relationships and developing new business opportunities by participating in sales meetings and working on proposals
- Opportunity to actively participate in firm-wide initiatives, including CPE development and delivery
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting or related field and CPA Certification is required
- 2 to 3 years experience as an Assurance Manager
- A minimum of 7 years experience working in external audit in public accounting or a combination of corporate and public accounting experience
- Excellent analytical and technical expertise with generally accepted accounting principles and SEC rules and regulations
- The ability to work effectively in a team environment with all levels of client personnel in various industries
- Excellent written/verbal communications and collaboration skills
- Proven leadership and business development skills
- Ability to manage multiple engagements in a fast paced environment
